Hero's Birthday Party
This past Saturday Ethan had his 3rd birthday party at Hero's. It was such a neat party place. Madison had a blast! She hated the bounce house thing at Halloween so I wasn't sure how she was going to do. She took a minute to warm up but then she had a blast!
This was the very beginning so we were still missing 4 kids! They had told the kids to make a silly face. Ethan was the only one that did it. Madison wasn't too sure that she wanted to be standing there. She was still being really shy at this point.
After we took the group picture, they took us all into the gym type room and the kids played all sorts of games.
Then to the best part...The bounce house room! Madison's favorite part was this huge slide. She loved it. She would climb up and go down, climb up and go down...over and over. It would take her forever to climb to the top. I went with her the first time and then she had it down. She didn't need me anymore. It was so cute watching her go down. She looked so tiny on the huge slide. Everytime she would get to the top she would wait until she saw me before she would come down. So precious! I'm so glad that she had so much fun.
coming down the first time! She got better at staying on her bottom the more she did it!
I took her down this smaller slide to take a break from the big one. She had a lot of fun on this one too but wasn't able to go through the obstacle course to get to the slide without help. We didn't play on this one too much. I got hot and tired of crawling through it.
Bouncing in the bounce house with all the other kids and Melanie (who's 7 months pregnant)
Back to the big slide!
There she goes...climbing up the ladder!
Finally made it to the top!
Oops! turned around and went down on her belly...not on purpose!
Party Room Time! The kids got pizza and cupcakes before Ethan opened his presents!
Here she is sitting at the table like a big girl with all the other kids. She could barely see over the table!
Happy Birthday to Ethan!
She enjoyed the pink icing...can you tell??
We ended the party by playing some games, like the ones you see at the fair!

Friends
Ashley, Kendall and Michelle came to visit us this past Wednesday! It was so great to see all 3 of them. We ordered pizza and watched the girls play. We just wish Randy could have been here too. Trent was a little out numbered with five girls in the house! He had fun though! Here are several pictures of the girls playing...
Fridge Farm and Fridge Phonics!
Madison showing Michelle how to play!
They loved the balls!
We tried so hard to get both of them to look out of the holes at the same time! We were never successful. Oh well. Thanks girls for coming to visit us! I wish we could do it more often.

Classic
...pictures of Madison!
She has recently 'mastered' her use of forks and spoons. But, most of her bites look like this!
She's just so proud of herself! She cheers for herself after almost every bite!
She has also become obsessed with Elmo. Each night we let her watch one show. She's decided that our big chair is her favorite place to watch him. Here are a few cute pictures of her enjoying her Elmo show!

Spoiled?
Madison is one very loved little girl! Needless to say, our house looks a bit like Toy's R Us. I didn't even put the many bath toys in the picture. One is a huge water slide! I'm sure there are other things I forgot too. She got so much! We are so thankful for all of it. You can click on the pictures to make them bigger!
Our last Christmas
Our Christmases started on December 14th and have finally finished up December 31st! Yesterday we headed out to Celina to have our Christmas and spend the day with Trent's parents. Madison had a great time playing with her Nana and Pop Pop.
Looking at the cute shirt she got and her new bible!

She loves the horses (Honey and Diamond). She talked me into taking her out to see them. She spent the rest of the night sweet talking anyone that would listen into taking her back to see them. Uncle Seth and Pop Pop took her several times. She loves those horses! She can say Honey really well but she struggles to say Diamond. She'll get it though.
