Karsyn is O.N.E!!!

I can not even believe I am writing this post already!! It doesn't seem that long ago that we were planning for this sweet girl to join our family. Now, a year later we are celebrating all that she is to our family.
We had a lot of family come to celebrate with us! Mom, Ron, Michael, Kara, Dad, Laurie, Sue, Gary, Zack, Melanie, Ethan, Eli, Kailyn, Bart, Ross, Reese, Reid and Avery were able to come. This girl is sure loved!

Grammy & Papa brought the big kids their own gifts! What a special surprise.

I hung her monthly pictures up on the wall!

I sure love these two girls and I love this picture of them!

ALWAYS taking her bow off

They love their uncle mike

She was so much more interested in Melanie's food than she was opening gifts

Her original birthday cake landed upside down in the driveway two hours before her party started. I was SO irritated. Trent was amazing and called Kroger and got a cake ordered. It was not near as cute as her original cake but no one cared but me. Karsyn still enjoyed eating it so that's all that matters, right?!

Karsyn with her Grandparents!
We had such a fun day celebrating this sweet girl and all that she means to our family! I am so thankful that the Lord blessed Trent and I with this sweet, precious girl. I can not believe our baby is one!

Build-a-Bear

We had an impromptu trip to Build-A-Bear right after Christmas. We were in the Frisco mall returning some items and the kids passed the store. Trent took them in to look around while I returned something next door. They both found bears they loved and so we decided to let them use their money from my Grandpa (he always sends them cash for birthdays/Christmas) to buy a bear. This was our first ever visit.
Cooper picked out a brown dog and Madison picked out a rainbow bear. Karsyn  saved her money since she doesn't really care about any of it yet! :)

she got to hold her brothers 'old' bear while he made his new one!

Meet Rosco (the dog) and Rainbow (the bear)!
They had a great time picking them out, stuffing them, cleaning them, getting them dressed and making their birth certificates. It's a good thing Grandpa was paying because this place is expensive!!
