Cooper had an Easter party on Thursday at daycare. We brought all kinds of food for their special lunch and Easter eggs for an egg hunt. It looks like he had a good time! I was hoping they'd take some pictures with some of his friends but they only got pictures of him. My sweet boy is growing up WAY TOO FAST!!!!

Grandparent's Day
This was Madison's first of many Grandparent's Day celebrations at Liberty! Mom and Sue Ann were the only two that were able to come. All the others had to work. She was super excited about having them both there with her. Mom had come in the night before so she took Madison to school. Madison thought that was pretty neat!
I think they started off with a performance in the auditorium. Unlike the Christmas program, she did not participate. Mom said she twirled her dress. From the looks of these pictures she kept her fingers shoved in her mouth (I am not a fan of this habit of hers. She does it when she's in trouble or embarrassed).

Then they went back to their classroom and showed their Grandparents some things they have learned this year (alphabet sounds etc) and then showed them their favorite centers they get to play in. Madison showed them the home center. That's her favorite!!

After that, they went outside and did an Easter egg hunt! This stinker wouldn't do it. She only got 2 or 3 eggs. She told mom in the car, "I only wanted 2 or 3". She's a mess.
Madison with her Nana's!
When Grandparent's Day was over Mom went and got Cooper and they met Joan, Dean and Grandmom for lunch. Then Mom and Grandmom brought the kids back home until I got off work. When they got home they both went down for their naps. When they woke up they opened their Easter treats from Grandmom and Nana & Pa.

Reid's Bowling Party
Reid had his 5th birthday at the bowling ally in Denton last weekend. This was the first time we had taken our kids bowling and they both loved it!

Week of the Young Child 2011
Cooper's daycare had Week of the Young Child this past week. I needed my camera at school so I wasn't able to send it with him this year. They dressed up all week. Monday- crazy socks, Tuesday-pajamas, Wednesday- western day, Thursday- team shirt, and Friday- The shirt he's wearing. They had fun activities planned all week for the kids! They were supposed to have a picnic one day but due to these crazy winds they canceled. I think they ate on their floor instead. :)

my artist
We were sending invitations for Grandparent's Day and Madison wanted to write on each invitation. She wrote her name on the first one and drew a 'heart'. When we got to this one she wanted to draw a person. She asked me how and before I could even answer her she was saying "Look Mom. (Yes she calls me mom from time to time :( ) I drew a person". I was super impressed with her first person.

Rangers vs. Boston
Dad and Laurie bought the family tickets to go to the Rangers vs. Boston games this past weekend! Madison was SO excited to go back to the ballpark. She loved going to the games last year and was just excited to go this year. Dad, Laurie, Randy and Michael went Saturday night and then again with us on Sunday afternoon. It was such a pretty day. The wind was blowing so it was never miserable. Madison ate lots of junk and we had a great time watching The Rangers WIN! Although- Dad, Laurie and Randy weren't very happy. They are huge Red Sox fans!
My sweet babies taking it all in
Madison got a sno-cone not long after we got there...
before her sno-cone face was clean she was eating an ice cream!
