October Randomness

love catching them in moments like this. they had locked themselves in their room so Karsyn couldn't take their colors. They were coloring on the train table.

They had friend night for Awana's. Madison brought Laken and Cooper brought Drew. They had a blast.

I went to dinner with some friends and came home to find her like this...somehow she managed to run into our dresser and took a chunk of skin off her forehead. She did not like the 'headband' as she kept calling it.

the scrape a few days later! Poor girl.

Again, her personality shinning through. She refused to come in after school one day. I have no clue where her shoe was. She sat in the garage for awhile before she decided she was ready to come in. She was smiling the whole time...whatever makes you happy!

What.A.Mess

This girl is a HANDFUL. A cute, spunky, hard headed, limit pusher, sweet, funny handful. We have so much fun with her and then seconds later can be so frustrated with her. She is her own person and you are not going to tell her what to do. At least, she thinks you shouldn't tell her what to do. I love her...stinkerness and all.

I was doing something in the kitchen one evening and hear splattering on the floor. I look over to find her trying to squirt her juice in Madison's soccer jug. She had pulled it out of the pantry herself, taken the lid off and was attempting to get her juice in. I guess the hole wasn't big enough??
She's so proud of herself...I'm so frustrated with her...but did have to take a picture. Mainly because I'm amazed at how many messes she can make in one day.
After I helped her get her juice in the jug and the lid on TIGHT she went happily to the living room to drink it. Too bad the jug is as big as she is.

If she manages to get in the car before you can get her into her car seat good luck getting her. She usually runs straight to the back and sits in the chair and WILL NOT come back up.  You have to crawl back there and drag her limp body back up to her seat. This particular day Madison blocked her from getting in the back so she ran to the other side of the van and squeezed herself between the door and her car seat. Look how proud she is. In the moment it is so frustrating but it does make me laugh. I know one day I will look back fondly of the messes and crazy antics.

Avery's 6th Birthday Party

Avery's birthday party was a blast for the kids. She had a bounce house and petting zoo. They did bobbing for apples and Karsyn kept reaching in and grabbing all the apples. She'd take a bite and throw it back in.

Cooper got to go first in the race! He grabbed one FAST!!!
I love Ethan's face in the background!

September Randomness

This dude wore his Ninja Turtle gear out to play. He said he didn't want shoes because 'turtles don't wear shoes'. He has his swords tucked into his shirt. :)

I went in to check on her before I went to bed and found her with her stroller in bed with her. The picture is blurry so it's kind of hard to see...

We have to keep all the 'hipes' aka wipes out of reach. She likes to play with them. I found her in her room taking out a wipe, wiping herself or her baby one time and then throwing it aside. Repeat over and over.

Lindsey invited Madison to spend the night with her for her birthday. Madison went home with her from school and they went to Mr. Gatti's and then had a sleepover. On Saturday they got to have lunch and got to Sweet and Sassy. Madison had a great time.

These two are a mess together! Eli and Karsyn both riding Eli's truck.

Soccer Stud

Cooper's first soccer game was September 28th. He was so excited and so serious. He is competitive that's for sure. He did fantastic and it was only his first game. He wasn't really sure what he was doing but he improved so much even in the 40 min they played. He ran hard and got after the ball the entire time. He and Drew played the whole game. They came out for about 2 minutes the entire time. I was so proud of him.

Love her

From September

I will miss finding things like this when he grows up...
