I bought Madison her own potty last weekend. I let her play on it (in clothes) for a day or two. Last night we set her on it before her bath and GUESS WHAT??? She went! We were so excited. She was so proud! She just kept smiling and pointing to it. Trent and I later laughed at ourselves for being so excited. Who would have thought two adults would be so excited to see pee in the potty! But just wait...all you parents out there with kids who are not potty trained yet...you will be just as excited the first time your kid goes in the potty! What's even more fun is that tonight we put her back on it after dinner and SHE WENT AGAIN!!
We aren't officially starting to potty train yet. I just noticed that she was realizing when she was going so I thought I'd go ahead and buy the potty so that she could start sitting on it for fun. And I wanted her to get used to it. Who knows, maybe we'll officially start trying soon! We'll see. Here is a CUTE picture of her sitting on her potty after the first time that she used it! She'll kill me one day knowing that I have posted a blog about her potty experiences.

I can't believe she's potty training! And doing so well! I read a great book recently called Potty Train Your Baby that you may like. It suggests starting as early as a year and finishing by the time most kids start training. We really miss seeing you guys too...Rémy is starting to walk around a little more, so the girls would be great playmates now! We should aim to get together around the Christmas break maybe.
