Our baby girl had her very first Christmas program on December 2nd! She did amazing! We have been hearing the songs and listening to the memory verse for weeks around the house, but we were sure that she'd shutdown the night of the performance! They had a rehearsal that morning at school and some of the high school kids came in to watch. Her teacher emailed me and said she did great! That gave me some hope but I was still sure that when the curtains opened and she saw ALL the people that no singing would be coming from her. She proved me wrong! She did it all and with some sass in her! All of her grandparents were able to be there so that made the night extra special!! She was so excited.
Mom and Ron got to the house just in time to change and head up to Liberty with us! I had mom get a quick family picture. It's not great but what do you do?!?
The curtains went back and this was the sweet smiling face standing there! (I wish I had brought my big camera so that the pictures would have turned out better)
The program was SO cute! They sang three songs and did a bible verse, "Today, in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you, He is Christ the Lord" Luke 2:11 It's amazing how much they can learn and memorize. The program was super cute and super sweet! Something about hearing a stage full of 3 year olds 'sing' is pure sweetness. Really there was no singing going on...they were yelling. Madison did decide to flip her dress up a few times at the end. Those Dora panties were seen by everyone :) Trent was videoing but the camera stopped at her waist. You couldn't see the full view, you can just see the dress flip up and down a few times. I guess that's what makes great memories...right?!?
After the program we all went down to her room to pick her up. All of the grandparents were able to see her room and meet Mrs. Carpenter! Can you tell how excited Madison is to have everyone there?
With her Papa and Grammy
With Nana and Pop Pop
and with Pa and Nana!
Thank you all for coming. I know Madison was thrilled to have you all there! We really appreciated you being there too! Our sweet girl is growing up too fast for this momma! Before we know it we will have these same pictures but with her in a cap and gown!
