Christmas in Abilene

We made the trek back to Abilene the 2nd weekend in December for an early Christmas. Typically when we're in Celina for Christmas we go to Abilene after Christmas but this year I wasn't able to travel after the 20th, so we went early. It was tough making sure everyone's presents were bought that early. I know my parents had a hard time as well :)
We got to Abilene on a Friday night and stayed through Sunday.

Saturday we had Christmas with Dad & Laurie...As always Santa did not disappoint!

We opened lots of gifts. It was fun seeing Cooper having fun this year. Last year, he was still too little to enjoy it.

He examines every gift he gets. It's so cute and funny!

She got a DS and was super excited!

Later that afternoon we made cookies...boy was it messy!

He accidentally got icing on the sprinkle lid when he was decorating his cookie so he licked it off. Then he decided that was pretty good and decided to dip the sprinkles into the icing container over and over and over. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's what he did the entire time he was up there.

I guess he did stop to decorate a cookie or two...

think she used enough sprinkles??

On Sunday, we celebrated Christmas with Mom & Ron. We all got a lot more presents! The kids were definitely spoiled. Trent and I have decided we don't even need to buy presents after going to Abilene. :)
I didn't get to get a picture of their Santa goodies because they beat me in the door and had already grabbed stuff and started opening

checking out what Santa brought him...after we got him off his scooter!

LOVE his new boots and she loves her Justin Beiber pajamas.

She LOVES to help in the kitchen. Nana let her help make chicken strips!

Trent and Cooper exhausted from all the Christmas fun!
We had a great trip and got to visit with all of our family. The kids had a blast and were given way more than they ever needed. The next time we go back we will have a new member in the family! :)
