Another football season is over

Liberty had another great season! They made it to state but didn't get the win! Trent has been coaching at Liberty for 5 years and they've made it to state 4 times! Since I had Cooper at the beginning of the season I wasn't sure how many games I would get to see. Thankfully he did great the first game I took him too so we were able to see almost every game! Every Friday night I'd load the kids (and all the things that go with two small kids) up and we'd head to the football field. It was the highlight of Madison's night and week for that matter! She would literally scream (with joy) when we would pull up to the field. She LOVES going to the field. She always looked forward to going up to visit her Daddy in the press box, riding on the gater with Cheryl and her favorite was running on the field after the game was over. Although it was rough being home alone Thursday-Saturday I'm sad it's over for another year. BUT, I'm very thankful that we will have Trent home with us every night and on the weekends again!
The state game was in Killeen. I got up at 6:30 (yes, I had to set my alarm. Guess I better get used to it since I go back to work on Tuesday) and had to wake the kids up so that we could get on the road by 7:30. We loaded up with all of our warm clothes and made the 3 hour drive down south. Cooper slept the entire way and Madison watched Veggie Tales. We were there way early but that's ok. It took forever to bundle the three of us up! Zack, Melanie, Ethan and Kailyn came to the game too. We were very excited about that. We sat in the stands for the first half. It was cold but not that bad. At half time we headed up to the press box to eat and shred some layers. The kids had fun playing! Here are the last pictures from this football season...

all bundled up...when we first got to the field.

she was more interested in Ethans animal...

sharing a candy cane

enjoying some food and watching the game in the press box

back outside...waiting on Daddy...she did have a heavy coat but she didn't want to wear it after we had been there for about 30 minutes.

I wish I had gotten a good picture of Cooper in all his clothes! He looked so cute!
