eating some cereal for a half time snack! Think she enjoyed hers?
We got a call when the Aggie game was almost over that Jack was gone. We had our neighbors checking in on him (something we've never done in the 5 years that we've left him) and they went to check on him Thanksgiving night and he was gone. He had busted some pickets out. I could hardly sleep that nigh. I was worried that he was either gone forever or the coyotes had gotten him because he doesn't run away when he gets out. We had planned to leave a little earlier on Friday so we could get home and get some flyers out but we got a call around noon that a flyer had been posted. Our other neighbors who live two doors down had picked him up at 1 in the morning on Thanksgiving. We hadn't met these neighbors because they haven't lived there long. They were taking care of him and hoping no one would claim him. :) We were able to stay and enjoy family and then picked Jack up when we got home later that night. What a relief. I don't think I could have handled losing two dogs within 5 months of each other.
We had a good Thanksgiving. It definitely wore me out being pregnant and having two little ones but it was great having Trent with us. Now we go back in two weeks for our Christmas...
