Christmas Day

After waking up and having Santa at home we loaded up the car -bags, gifts, and 2 dogs- and headed for Abilene. We went to my Dad and Laurie's house and opened presents with them. Laurie had all kinds of goodies to eat when we got there. Later that afternoon we headed over to my Nanny and Papa's house (my dad's parents) to have Christmas lunch and open presents with them. Madison did really well especially after a long Christmas Eve in Keller, Christmas/Santa at home, a 3 hour drive to Abilene and then having her 3rd, 4th and 5th Christmases there.

Walking into Dad's living room to see what Santa had left for her!

another tricycle! I have a feeling we'll be going on lots of walks around the neighborhood with 2 tricycles.

opening MORE presents!

We spent Thursday to Sunday in Abilene. We had a really good visit. We spent Saturday evening with Laurie's dad and step mom. Madison had a great time at that Christmas too because there were 5 little girls to play with. They are all older so they carried her around, danced with her, put make up on her and did whatever she wanted them to do. (I have pictures being e-mailed to me so I'll post them when I get them) In all we've had 5 Christmases. But, we still have one very important one left. We will go see Trent's parents on Wednesday to have our Christmas with them.

Madison is one spoiled little girl! She's not going to know what to do when she has to share all of this attention with a brother or sister. Although she still has awhile! :)

We had so much fun, and Madison did really well, never acting fussy or tired.

We will have a hard time when we have to start sharing attention with another grandbaby, but we will love them every bit the same (eventually)! (just kidding) GL
