The past two weeks...

we haven't been up to much. I'm still adjusting to life as a Mommy of two! It's getting easier and we seem to be getting on somewhat of a schedule. Cooper is a good baby. He sleeps a lot but has some days where he's up for hours. When he is awake he loves to watch Madison. She likes for him to lay on his Baby Einstein mat so she can lay with him. It's fun to watch her love on him and take care of him. She is his second Mommy. She's the first one by his side when he's crying but I have to watch because she's tried to pick him up the past few days. :/
Here are LOTS of pictures from our days at home.

Taking a picture of Cooper in his chair

This look is a look I get way too often these days :)

Madison learned how to do a flip, as she calls it. She loves to show anyone that comes over!

Nana and Pop Pop gave Madison these cute overalls awhile back.

I took the picture of Cooper laying on Trent's shoulder and then Trent moved him to another position. Madison climbed up on him and layed her head on his shoulder and said "take my pitcher, Mommy"

My babies!

Madison always wants to read to Cooper. She doesn't say anything. She just looks at the pictures and has him sit in her lap.

The next few pictures are from Seth's birthday! Trent's whole family went to eat at The Trail Dust. That's 10 adults and 7 kids!! Luckily they have a dance floor and the kids ran around it all night!

Trent's Grandmother made this apron for Madison. She LOVES it and wears it all the time.

she was making dinner for us and setting the table. :) We all had to sit down and eat when she was finished. She made bacon.

I'm off to bed. I have a cute little boy that will be waking up in about 2 hours!! :)

COOPER IS HERE!!

Last Friday was like any other Friday night. Madison and I went to the football game to watch our Warriors. When we got home we had a snack and were all in bed around 11pm. This is when it changes...Around 2:00 I got up to use the restroom, like I do several times a night. Cooper had been on some nerves in my back for a few months now so I'm always really sore and it's hard for me to walk when I've been laying down awhile. This time it seemed more painful. I made it back from the restroom and was laying in bed. My stomach was cramping really bad but I wasn't sure that they were contractions. About 15 minutes later I was wet. I told Trent "Either my water broke or I went to the bathroom". I got up and for a few minutes still couldn't decide if I had lost all control over my ability to not pee on myself or if my water had indeed broken. It was pretty obvious that it was my water after a few minutes. Of course we weren't packed. The only person who had a bag was Cooper. I was not due until September 16th but Dr. Wilson was going to induce on September 9th. This was only September 5th. We called Melanie so that she could meet us at the hospital to get Madison. We gathered a few things for her and headed out the door. We also called all of our parents so they could start heading that way. My parents have a 3 hour drive. Trent's are only about 45 minutes from the hospital. Luckily, we live about 10 minutes away. We arrived at the hospital and were in our room by 3:30. They started prepping me and I got my epidural fairly quickly. I think I was at a 4 or 5. A little after 6:00 they came in and said they were going to start turning me from side to side to start working him down. As soon as they turned me on my side I told them I was ready to push. I had just been a 5 about 30 minutes before so they turned me back over to check my progress. I was a 10 and READY!! One problem. The doctor was still at home. They didn't expect me to deliver until around 10:00am. Then they tell me "Wait. You can't push. We have to wait on the dr." He was there by 6:30 and Cooper was here at 6:45! It was a very fast delivery and fairly easy. I've been lucky that both my babies have come fast. S
Sue Ann was the only one that made it in time for Cooper's arrival. Mom, Ron and Kara were on the road. They made it around 7:15. Dad was working until 8:00 so him and Laurie didn't make it until around 5:00 that evening. Gary and Seth were hunting and had no cell phone reception. They didn't even know about Cooper until the following day. As the day went on we had several visitors. Dad and Laurie kept Madison while we were in the hospital. She was spoiled rotten and loved every minute of it. Thanks Dad and Laurie. Here are pictures from our days in the hospital.
