More Liberty Football

Melanie and the kids came over last night before the game to play! Madison was so excited. She loves having visitors. We didn't go to the game until half time. It was so fun watching Ethan and Madison run around on the field. Madison did her best to keep up with Ethan but she just couldn't do it. He's too fast! About the time she'd catch up, he'd turn around and run in the other direction. She didn't seem to mind though. She was having so much fun! At one point she came up to me and said "I can't find Esan. He went dat way and dat way and dat way". After I helped her find him she was back down and running after him again. Liberty beat Midland!! Yay!!!

Pumpkin Patch Take Two

Since the first trip wasn't so fun, I wanted to take the kids again. I was hoping to get a few good pictures of the kids or at least a few of Madison. We went Wednesday morning because it was supposed to be a pretty day, sunny and low 70's. Not so much. It was cloudy, windy and cold. Madison still wouldn't smile. I've just decided that she's at the age where she'd rather go jump in the bounce house or slide down the slides than sit with pumpkins and smile. So - I gave up. I didn't even get Cooper out of his stroller since she wouldn't smile. Despite the fact that I got no pictures we had a good time. It was much better during the week. Madison could go into any bounce house she wanted, we didn't have to wait in long lines to go down the slides and we could actually push the stroller around. Here are a few pictures from our day. My Aunt went with me since Trent decided he'd rather pass. I wish I had gotten a picture of her and Madison. After the pumpkin patch she treated us to lunch. Madison was so excited that she came with us!

Warrior Pep Rally

Since I'm not working right now I'm able to go to things during the day...Today we decided to go to the Pep Rally. Madison got a cheerleading outfit for Halloween and so she's been cheering at home. Her cheer consistent of "Go Daddy" or "Go Ross" but still....she cheers! Anyways, I thought she might enjoy going. I should have learned my lesson from the pumpkin patch but obviously I have not. She did not get nap before we went so she was SO tired. She would not smile for a picture and since we had to get there so early to get a seat, she was ready to go before it even started. It was a blackout pep rally for homecoming and she watched but was not that excited about it. When it was almost over it was like she suddenly got her second wind and came to life. We plan to go again next week and will definitely make sure we have a nap before hand. We didn't make it to the game tonight since both kids were so tired.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved a pumpkin on Monday! Madison was not sure about it at first but soon decided it was fun! At first she kept saying "I want Daddy to do it" when we'd tell her to dig the guts out! After watching Trent and I do it a few times she decided she'd give it a try. Cooper slept in his chair the whole time. We had been out running errands right before and he fell asleep. I decided to leave him in there until we were finished so that we could all participate. Really, Trent did most of the work while Madison and I watched! :)

digging in for the first time

look at all those guts

After we were finished we took it outside to light him up. It was SO cold and windy but we got him lit up! Madison is VERY proud of it.

Pumpkin Patch

was not so fun this year...We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was SO windy and SO crowded! Last year we went during the week and it was perfect. We decided that we'd never go again on the weekend. There were SO many people and we had Cooper in the stroller. It was chaotic trying to push that thing around in the masses of people. I plan to take the kids back one day when the weather clears up! I want to get at least one picture of Madison smiling :) Despite the blank stare she did have a lot of fun! Here are some pictures from our day--

The kids before we left!

Trent carried Madison on his shoulders because we had to park so far away! She LOVED jumping! It's all she wanted to do while we were there. They had one jump house set up for kids 4 and under so it was perfect!

Now that we're home all she talks about is seeing 'winesteins' aka Little Einsteins at the pumpkin patch!

Hopefully we'll get to go back early next week and get some more pictures :)
