Trent's First Track Meet

Tonight was Trent's first track meet as HEAD COACH!! It was just a practice meet, I guess. They weren't keeping scores. Madison and I went up for about 2 hours. Her newest thing is taking her stroller outside for a walk. She did not want to stop walking to go to the meet so I told her she could take her stroller with her. She pushed it all over the place. She only ran into one person! I'm exhausted and heading to bed! Only one more day of school (for the week)!

Sleepy and ready for her bath!

For Madison's Grandparents

Today was Grandparents Day at Church. I guess they made these last week to give to you today. Since none of you go to our church, I thought I'd post it here! She's lucky to have you as Grandparents!

Ice cream and presents...

Since I've been pregnant, I've been REALLY sick again. Therefore, I'm not blogging near as often as I was. Here are few random pictures from the past week...

She likes ice cream...can you tell?? She licked the ice cream lid while I made us a chocolate milk shake...after our milk shake the doorbell rang (7:30pm). Madison had another surprise from her Nana and Pa! It was a day late :) but she got to open another Valentine package...

showing off her new clothes and teddy bear!

Her favorite part was the box!

Here we are enjoying another milk shake. This is becoming an every other night tradition. It might need to end soon, before both of us blow up! We started off sharing a straw but I had to have Trent bring me another one because Madison wouldn't let me have a drink! She loves her some chocolate milk shake.

She can't take her eyes off Elmo. Yes, this is right before bed. I know, I'm a bad mom!

Melanie's Shower

Anne and I had a shower for Melanie on Valentine's Day. We were so thankful that she made it! We weren't sure if Miss Kailyn was going to wait that long. But she did, and she is still hanging in there. The shower was a lot of fun. Most of Melanie's family and good friends were able to come. Her sister even surprised her from California! I think that was the best part for her!

The three pregnant girls! Anne (16 weeks) Melanie (32 weeks) Me (10 weeks). If only I was going to look as cute as Mel. She just has a belly! I blow up all over...

Here are a few pictures of some of the guests!

Happy Valentine's Day

I don't get to see my sweet baby in the mornings, so last night I had her try on her Valentine shirt with her new bows (thanks Amy!) to make sure she looked cute! Since she was in her Valentine outfit I decided I'd try to get a few pictures of her just in case daycare wouldn't take pictures for me.

Isn't she the sweetest thing!?!

She was crawling all over the living room trying to give Jack kisses! The picture on the right is her laughing from me tickling her! I never did get a good shot of her just standing there. She wasn't into having her picture taken!

DAYCARE PARTY
I sent my camera to daycare today so that I could have some pictures from her Valentine's Party. Just so you know...her hair styles in the following pictures are not done by me. I'm not sure why they put her bow in like this. She's looks silly in most of these! Oh well....

These are the gifts she made for us! Trent's is on the left and mine is on the right!

Look at my big girl! She's passed out on her nap mat!

I'm not sure what's up with the picture on the left! She looks HUGE next to him! These are a few of her daycare friends!

If you notice she's not smiling in any of these pictures! Despite the sad look on her face I think she had a fun time! She had fun showing me all the things she made and all the goodies she got!

When we got home she had a surprise package to open...from her Grammy and Papa!

They sent her a wiener dog, a Valentine book, some JuJu hearts and an ELMO card! She loved all of her gifts. Thank you Grammy and Papa!
(Remember if you click on the pictures, it makes them bigger so that you can see them better)

What a big girl...

Trent took Madison in for her 18 month check up (although she's almost 20 months) this past week. She is 35 1/4" (100%) She weighs 26.6 lbs (65%) and her head continues to be large at 49 cm (93%). Dr. Torrie said she is the average height for a 30 month old!! Who knew?? She doesn't seem that tall to me.
She is continuing to grow up so fast. She's talking more and more. She's just recently started putting 3-4 words together to form broken sentences. It's so cute but at the same time so sad. It seems like only yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. Everyone said it would fly by but I never realized just how fast it would go!
She still loves Elmo. We watch Sesame Street EVERYDAY! She loves her books. She's constantly bringing them to us to read. She's also started 'reading' them herself. She'll get a book and go sit by herself and look through it. It's the cutest thing ever! She wants to be outside every minute of every day. She would live out there if we let her. She bosses the dogs around all the time. She's constantly telling them "no, get down, move" etc. Shes loves them so much and they love her too! She's into getting her picture taken. She'll bring me the camera and say 'cheese'. She wants me to take a picture and then show her. She also likes to clean. You can give her a washcloth or wipe and she'll wipe everything down...and do it for at least 30 minutes. Trent says he needs to teach her that it's ok to be messy! I think he's afraid he'll have two clean freaks on his hands. There is so much I could write about her. I could go on and on with things she likes and things she does. She's such a sweet girl. We pray that baby #2 is as sweet as she is! She's been such a blessing to us! We are loving every minute we get to spend with her.

I'll end with a cute picture from a few weeks ago! I've been really sick again so we haven't done much lately, as far as getting out of the house. We've been finding other ways to entertain ourselves! She thought this was so funny. Now she wants me to do this to her hair all the time.
