September is here

September is here and school is into full swing. Soccer season has started up again and pools are closing.

Madison and Madelyn during their first soccer game. They were taking a quick break.

This sweet girl is under the weather. It seems to happen every year when they go back to daycare.

The Searcy's invited us to go to Hawaiin Falls on their final day to be open. It rained all morning (see pictures above) but cleared up a little before lunch so we headed out for a little bit. Karsyn and I left early because she was just not herself.
Mary Jane ~ Charis ~ Madison ~ Caden ~ Cooper

I hate that she is not feeling well but I'm loving all the extra cuddles.

First Liberty Home Game

 My girls!

A little different view of the game for these two former Liberty coaches. Rick and Trent both coached defense last year and both stepped down from coaching. Rick left Liberty all together. We sure loved cheering on the Warriors and Trent for the past 9 years but I have to say...it was really nice having him home with me Friday night helping get everyone ready for the game. :)

First Day of School 2013-2014

 We both start Kindergarten today...

She thought I was crazy for waking her up this morning but she smiled anyway. She is always so happy. I'm so thankful.

Goodbye Summer

 Love that big belly!

It made this boys night that he was able to get on the roof. One of his balls got stuck up there so he went up to get it. Then Madison wanted up there too. :)

We had to come in early and eat, take baths and get ready for our first day of school. Another summer has come to an end. We are in mourning. I will be starting a new job in Argyle. Madison is starting Kindergarten. We have a lot of change going on in our house.  We are excited about all the change but sad that are lazy summer days are over. I'm so thankful for the 2 short months I have at home with my babies each summer. I always have such a hard time transitioning back into a working mama.

Meet the Teacher

Cooper has Mrs. Wardlaw again! We are thrilled. He loves her. She did wonderful with him last year. We are so thankful that he gets to spend his days with her again. He is super excited to be back in her classroom. His buddy Enzo will be in there again too. They were both too young last year so they are old pros this year.

Madison got THE Mrs. Sanchez. We are so excited. We have heard nothing but GREAT things about her. We think she will be perfect for Madison. We can't wait to see how much she grows and learns in her first year of Kindergarten. I'm thankful Madison will spend her time with someone who is so incredibly kind each day.

Rangers Game

Trent had lunch with an old high school buddy. He had some company Ranger tickets he needed to give away and asked if we wanted to go. We were happy to take them. The kids love going and everyone is usually really good. We loaded our cooler with hotdogs and drinks and took lots of snacks in the backpack. I don't think we spent a dime for the trip, other than gas. It actually wasn't that hot for a game in August.

A foul ball hit the lady's leg behind us and rolled down to a boy in front of us. The kid was probably 9 or 10. Their family looked like they really got into the games. They were taking stats throughout the game. A few minutes after the boy had the ball he turned around and asked Cooper if he wanted it. He was so excited. I thought that was so sweet of that little boy to offer Cooper the ball. I hope Cooper is able to do the same one day to another little boy. He never put the ball down. He just kept tossing it between his hands while looking at it.

It was a firework night too! We had a great time. It was a fun way to end our summer together.
He will hate her one day....and me for posting this!

Sleepover Fail

Kailyn has been wanting to spend the night with us all summer and we were down to my last few days at home. We had her come over and were ready for our first sleepover at our house. Madison has stayed at her house a few times. She came over and they played while I got dinner ready. We had dinner (corndogs, macaroni and grapes. I worked really hard!) and then made ice cream sundaes.

After dinner and dessert they put on their swim suites and jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler going underneath.

Then we headed out to feed the ducks. We walked down to the pond close to our house.

We stayed outside and played awhile. Then we came in and took baths and they watched Full House in our bed until about 10:00. Then it was bed time. Once bed time came, Kailyn decided she wasn't quiet ready to have a sleepover. Her Daddy came to get her about 10:30. She said she will come back when she is 5. :)

August Randomness

This is what happens when she doesn't get put down for a nap...she falls asleep on my floor while listening to music :)

Cooper traced his hand...he does not have 6 fingers...

I guess macaroni is better when dumped out onto the blanket?

Supportin' her Papa's team. Go Red Sox!

 9 year anniversary! Love.

He caught a butterfly on his finger. He was super pumped!

There is never a dull moment while shopping with this girl! Look at all the faces.

 Love those big blue eyes!
