Madison's Birthday Celebration

Madison's birthday celebration day at school was last Monday. They assign specific days to celebrate birthdays for the summer birthdays. She wanted to make cookies on a stick for her birthday treat. They turned out pretty cute.

I sent my camera to school with her so they could take a few pictures!

I can't believe my baby is in her 2nd year of pre-school and already 4 1/2 years old! Where does the time go???

muffins and giggles

When Trent plays with the praise team at church he has to be there at 7:00. That leaves me getting everyone ready on my own. I don't do this too often because I'm usually already gone in the morning when they get up for school. I had given both of the kids some muffins and milk and gone into my room to get ready. I walked out to check on them to find them sitting like this. They had pushed one of the back cushions down and were sitting behind it on the couch, giggling and watching each other eat muffins. It was so cute and sweet. I love these two!!

Cowgirl Day

Madison had Cowgirl/Cowboy day at school. Her pink cowgirl boots don't fit her anymore so we didn't have anything for her to wear. Luckily, thanks to a plee on Facebook, Cooper's old teacher brought her some boots and a pearl snap shirt. I didn't have to go buy anything.
She loved getting dressed up and had a fun day at school.

A package from Nana and Pa

They were SO excited to have a package for them on the front porch!

Nana went shopping! She got them tons of long sleeve shirts! We were all so excited to receive this package! Thanks Nana and Pa.

Last swim of the year...

Trent and Madison had some sort of conversation about swimming before school the other day. Trent must have told her that he might take her swimming because the first thing she said when I picked her up was, "Can we go swimming now?" I sent Trent a text (he was still in football practice) to prepare him for his last swim of the season. Right after dinner we headed to the pool. I sat this one out. :)

Cooper was prepared for our last swim of the year...

Madison was so excited to have a package on the porch

You gotta love when grandparents go shopping! We are so thankful that Nana and Pa sent us all these long sleeve shirts! Thank you Nana and Pa!
*Madison has worn a few, even in the 86 degree weather!

Gymnastics

Madison has started taking gymnastics. She LOVES it! Our neighbor is a year and a half older than Madison and gave us several of her old gymnastics suits. She goes once a week for 45 minutes!

Homemade Dip-n-Dot Ice Cream

Michael and Kara decided it would be a great idea to get Cooper a dip-n-dot ice cream maker for his birthday! They got it so they could eat it but we never made any at the party. We did, however, make it a few days later...after having Madison beg us every day. We made strawberry per Cooper's request.

They had to let it freeze over night! This was the final result. It was ok. Next time we make it, we are going to try it with milk. Thanks Michael, from Madison and Cooper!
