Cute boy and a tricycle

L.O.V.E this face!

glad I captured this one (even though it's a little blury) because this is the whine face! we see it often. He gets so frustrated and instead of trying to fix his problem he squeals/whines!

He looks scared. Yes, she's in a t-shirt and no pants and she's out front!

End of Spring Break 2011

The last weekend of our Spring Break was a busy one! Trent left to go hog hunting in Sherman on Thursday night. Since he was gone, Madison and I had a slumber party :) Friday the kids and I ran some errands and had to leave for a showing shortly after we got back home. Mom & Ron came in town that evening. We ordered pizza and went on a long walk. Saturday we went shopping, had lunch at Freebirds and then the kids and I went to Sanger to celebrate Kailyn's 2nd birthday!!

These two loved the bubbles!

Kailyn got her very own gator for her birthday! She drove Cooper all around the yard.

They thought it was funny to run into each other!

After Kailyn's party we came back to our house and Mom, Ron & Michael were there! Trent was back too! We grilled burgers and watched the kids play outside! It was good, relaxing visit.

love this sweet face!

she wanted to load her tricycle up and drive it around

Cooper watching Madison and Michael wrestle!

They sure love their Uncle Michael!

Sunday we ended up staying home from church and Celina. Cooper had thrown up several times during the night and was not feeling well. By that afternoon we needed to get out! We went out front and trimmed some trees and blew some bubbles! It was a nice relaxing end to our Spring Break!

This was the first Spring Break that I have not gone to Abilene, EVER! It was weird! But, Mom and Ron did come visit us. Dad and Laurie are coming up in April to take us all to the Rangers/Boston game.
We really enjoyed all the family time we got this past week! I'm thankful that I have time off with my babies and my husband! Now it's back to reality! The countdown to summer has begun.

18 month check up

Cooper went to the doctor for his 18 month check up before our trip to Oklahoma! He's right on track and doing everything and more that he should be! He's a tall, skinny boy!
He was: 35 1/4" (98% in height)
25 lbs 3 oz (39% in weight)

His head was 48cm (55%)

It doesn't surprise me that he's in the 98% for his height. I think he's always been above 96%. He's taller than Kailyn who is 6 months older than him and he's taller than our neighbor that is 4 months older.

This sweet boy is talking a lot more. We still can't understand most of it. He mostly repeats words that we say to him. He can say: Momma, Daddy, Ra-co, ouch, ouchie, apple, cookie, bye-bye, Papa, Nana, cheese (chiz), Tooper (Cooper), Uh-oh, ball, moo, hi, thank you AND he sings Baby O (Justin Beiber) because he hears it over and over.
He knows his boy parts (nose, ears, hair, eyes, mouth and belly). He's learning to ride a tricycle. He LOVES fruit. He started getting time outs at 16 months. He's only had to go 2 or 3 times and it's always for hitting his sister. He's a super sweet boy and he's growing up way too fast!!!

Arbuckle Wilderness - Spring Break 2011

We loaded up and headed to Arbuckle Wilderness in Oklahoma on Wednesday. We left around 10:30 and stopped for lunch along the way!

When we got there we parked and went into the gift shop to look around and take a bathroom break before going through the zoo. This was such a neat place! The kids were so excited to see the animals. Madison was looking forward to feeding the zebras.

Waiting in line to get in!

They had their animal food and were patiently waiting :)

We were finally in!!! We had all the windows down and the kids in our laps. They took turns between the two of us! It took us about 1 1/2- 2 hours to get through the park. We saw all kinds of animals and even got to hand feed a few! We had a yak ram our side mirrors, an ostrich try to take our cup of food away and donkeys block the road for a good 20 minutes. It was quiet the adventure and it was fun!

look at this llamas teeth!!

The ostriches cracked us up. They are so curious! This one tried to take off with Trent's cup of food!

He was peeking through our back window :)

kangaroos

Madison got to feed the donkey

Madison said "Look at that camel. He's just chillin' out"
We tried to get him up but no amount of food was going to make him move!

Cooper loved the 'horsies' but they never came close to us!

Madison dumped some food out for this 'yakety-yak' and two seconds later...

His head was in our car! She flew across the car. :) After he got some food his horns hit my side mirror so he decided he'd start ramming it. Madison has talked about this a lot since our trip.

Madison got to feed another donkey!

We fed this thing for a long time.

I tried to get Cooper to lay his hand flat and let it eat from his hand but he kept throwing it at him instead.

We finally got to the ZEBRAS! Madison had waited a LONG time for them.

She got to feed him and even pet him! She was one happy girl!

By the way: Cooper growled at every animal that came to the car. :)

After driving through the park we went back to the gift shop and then out to the walk through zoo. Unfortunately, they didn't have any animals out there. We're not sure where they were. It looked like it was for monkeys, birds etc. The kids had fun running around after being in the car for awhile!

love this!

This was such a fun family trip. We were so glad that we went! The kids had a great time and so did we! We've decided we need to go back at stay at Turner Falls this summer!!

Zack and Melanie invited us over for dinner. On our way back from Oklahoma we stopped at their house to visit and eat!

The kids had fun riding the gator and playing! We ordered pizza and visited until around 7:30. It was definitely a LONG, FUN day!
