I totally missed the monthly picture in the chair. Things are so crazy during football season that is slipped past me and before I realized it, it was too late. In the last month she has:
-started eating Gerber yogurt, diced apples, steamed green beans and carrots, waffles, chicken meat sticks, cubed sweet potatoes, tortillas, avocados and she even snatched a french fry while eating out one night.
-same bottles schedule: 8 oz - one when she wakes up, one around lunch, 3:30 and then before bed.
-she is in 9 month clothes or 6-12 and size 3 diapers
-started drinking out of a sippy cup
-stands up and lets go but immediately falls over *Towards the end of her 8 month she was letting go and standing up for a few seconds before falling over.
-loves holding your hands to walk around the house , she giggles with excitement
-she had her 3rd ear infection and was sent to the ENT -after visiting the ENT he said he couldn't even see her ear drum because it was so scabbed over. His thoughts were that her very first ear infection was so bad it caused her ears to blister and scab over. Each time we went in after that, the dr was looking at the scab and thinking it was infected, instead of the actual ear drum. He wrapped her in a towel and the nurse and I held her down while he scrapped all the junk off her ear drum. It was disturbing what he pulled out. Poor baby. What was so sad was she was smiling (like always) all the way up to the point that he scrapped her ear. Then she screamed but was GREAT as soon as she got unwrapped from the towel. So for now, no tubes! Thank the Lord. Fingers crossed, we haven't had any more ear issues.
-Nana (my mom) came and spent the night with all the kids so Trent and I could go to the Aggie game.
-she crawls all over the place. She leaves rooms and crawls to other rooms. I really have to watch her now and keep all doors closed.
She is such a ray of sunshine! We love her so much and are so thankful for the blessing that she is to our family.
