Christmas in Abilene

We arrived in Abilene on Christmas Eve around 10 in the morning. We went to Dad's house and visited them while Mom was still at work. While we were there the kids got to decorate cookies again. They were super excited about that.

When mom got off work we headed to her house. We had lunch and then the kids, Mom, Ron, Kara, Michael, Randy and all 7 dogs walked to the park to play while Trent and I ran a few errands. When they got home they raked leaves only so they could jump into them.

Later that day we ate dinner and opened presents!
Nana & Pop Pop with their grandkids!

Christmas Eve night we headed over to Dad & Laurie's to spend the night! When we woke up Christmas morning Santa had come again! He sure left a lot...

My poor girl was so sick and was not interested in any part of the presents...

Michael ran out of tape so he used seran wrap to wrap Dad & Laurie's present!

After we opened gifts and went through all the goodies from Santa we headed back over to Mom & Ron's to see what Santa left at their house.

We went to Nanny & Papa's later that day to have lunch and Christmas with them. Allison & Shannon came with their families too! This was Nanny & Papa's first Christmas without Gary so I think they enjoyed having lots of family around them.

Grammy & Papa with their grandkids!

Allison, Shannon & I decided to give Nanny & Papa a book full of pictures of all the great grandkids. Nanny had just opened it. It made her cry so I think she liked it :)

Despite this being a hard Christmas (the first Christmas without Grandmom and Gary) it was fun celebrating Karsyn's FIRST Christmas. I hate that she was so sick the whole time. As soon as we got back home we took her to the doctor to find out she has a double ear infection and cold. We loved being in Abilene and loved being surrounded by our family during the Christmas season.
