Cooper is 3

Cooper's 3rd birthday fell in the middle of the week. There was no way we were going to make it through a birthday without having balloons. He was SO excited when we got balloons for Trent and that's all he's talked about since. The night before his birthday I stopped at Party City and got these balloons. I ran home and hid them in Karsyn's closet before going to pick him up from school.
We wanted him to feel special on his birthday although it was a school day, gymnastics night and weeks away from his party. That morning I got up early and went to the donut store. This kid loves donut holes. We had donuts, balloons and his present waiting on him when he got up. I normally leave before anyone is up but I wanted to see him on his special day so everyone woke up a few minutes early.

 excited about his new Buzz

I love this boy as much as he loves Buz! Cooper- I can't believe we are celebrating your 3rd birthday. You seem so much older--I guess because your tall, have been potty trained for a year and you're in school. You bring so much JOY and LAUGHTER to our house. You are HILARIOUS and are ALWAYS doing stuff to make us laugh. You're sweet and silly. You like attention, you're tender hearted and love your Daddy. You say funny things, do funny things, make funny faces and have quiet the personality already. You love, love, love to dance. You are so serious when you do it too! You call nipples ‘peoples’. I’m not sure where you got that but we don’t correct you, we think it’s funny. You love jumping on the trampoline and driving in your gator as well as riding in Drew’s truck. You like tags. They seem to comfort you. When we put you to bed at night you either find the tag in the side of your shirt and play with it or you grab the tag that’s on your bear blanket. You got your first bike but you’re not sure how to peddle it yet. You say the prayer before dinner most nights and always say one before bed. You are protective of Karsyn. One day I went in your daycare room after I got her. Your friends were trying to come see her and every time one of them would touch her you would push them hard. Secretly I was proud of you for protecting her even though I had to tell you not to push. Michael and Drew Brinkley are your best friends and you tell everyone. If anyone says Michael’s name you say, “that’s my best friend”. You LOVE him. You love ogurt ‘yogurt’, wheat thins, veggie chipd, strawberry milk and cliff bars. Taco Casa, Double Daves and Chick-fil-a are some of your favorite places to eat. Your name, according to you, is Cooper Vest Trent. You are really into Spiderman, Superman, Toy Story and Cars right now. You like Bob the Builder too. You like to watch movies and love to eat popcorn.  You love to go to football games and want to do whatever your Daddy is doing. You can't wait to play soccer in the spring. You talk a lot.You know how to spell your name but can't write it yet. You know your letters and some numbers to 10. You're learning so much at school. We love watching your personality develop. We can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to mold you, grow you and draw you closer to Him. We love you and are so thankful God chose us to be your parents. I have a feeling we have a life time full of laughs ahead of us. I hope you know how much you are loved.
